it is completely customizable and skinnable, you will be able to change the iPod controls. The ones shown in the previous screenshot are just an example, certainly not the final controls.
And in the screenshots I have shown, NOTHING IS FINAL, it is all changing all the time.

+1 for adding the toggles!
I still like the sticky note, and SMS and such, I hope that there will be options to keep those too - Maybe a triple tap? (Is that possible?).
GREAT WORK!! It looks amazing already! And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

Tabs
They're still all there. Notice the preferences tab is selected at the top. The left tab (with the heart icon) includes all the widgets shown in the previous screenshot. The middle tab (with the finger icon) is the accessability tab. It includes options to respring, restart, turn off, lock, change volume, silent etc your iPhone.

^^^ Sweet. I thought that the tabs might have been for that. I like the concept of this app so much!

Until this is done, I recommend folks get iStorage. Very similar in concept, as it uses a base location to launch other things from, but also give you a file system access and several settings to choose from. It's basically like the dock on a Mac. It's in the app store and I've just started using it. This is a GREAT app to tide you over.

this looks great. Just an idea. Maybe a respring button? It would be very convenient.
Good luck on the app

Jackf, there is a respring button. On the accessability tab there are many more buttons that you guys haven't seen yet. And there are more things to come, people, nothing is final.

Have you tried using Backgrounder? It lets stuff run in the background.
For instance:
When I am playing Stone Of Destiny I press the hold button until it shows that Backgrounder is enabled.
Then I open my iPod and start the music. Press the home button again until it says Backgrounder is enabled. Then re-open Stone Of Destiny and play the game while listening to my music.
It doesn't work like you said if you start the music first and then the game. You have to start the game first and then the music
************************************************** ******
But yeah, I am looking forward to using this app. Good luck with the coding and hopefully you will figure it all out

Conn, you are the man! thank you so much for taking my suggestions into consideration
I think alot of other people are also very happy with the addition of alot of "setting" type prefs. I also love the tabs you implemented to keep the sections of the app from being cluttered. You are doing an awesome job so far.
p.s.!!! Can you PM me a beta link
b3nny:I think one of the issues with copy and paste is that it has to be a apple framework that other apps can tap into. for example. if you add a copy paste to this app, how do you suppose you will get information out of mobilemail.app? what about if you are using AIM to chat with someone, how will you be able to copy a chat log or paste a chat log from AIM? just tapping into springboard is not enough, you still need to have all programs communicate with eachother in some way, as well as implement some sort of grabbing, selecting, lasso type tool for people to pinch grab and select text. it seems that copy/paste is a huge endeavor and I would much much rather see the feature set pushed to version 1.0 or beta testing before a monster like copy/paste. of course, if I am wrong and copy and paste is much easier than go for it, but I think the things i've mentioned are big hurdles for anyone trying to write a solution.Last edited by zurie; 10-14-2008 at 12:48 PM.
