Making app icons

Im trying to make a winterboard theme, and I was wondering what you guys use to round the coners on your icons. ??? I've made a few icons, but they appear with corns, wich looks quite ugly. I have photoshop CS3, so if you know how do it with that it would be great, but if you use a different program any help would be great.
