    @Mes

    I ensure you if the reminder of any event is set to Off, it will never ring/vibrate (for that event) because of notifier application. Even if the reminder would be set to the lower version where it's enabled (1 minute) it would not remind you before this minute, so it's not possible for it to be instantly fired by the respring.

    @kwall

    If this application puts a badge on it's icon when the new IM comes, yes it can be added.
    Since the 1.2 version i've added the swirly, bite and ireal for mms and sms notifications under the sms icons and reminder.

    I just sent the 1.4 version to bigboss, wich brings a modified gui with a new option to disable the icons individually. Also it has some fixes for the visual voicemail notification.

    Hope you like. Later i'll bring the scheduler for it.

    Thank you so much for this application, spektro, it is working great for me.

    I have a question regarding the reminder sound for voicemail - it is two short beeps. I was wondering, where can I find this particular sound file on my phone? Is it in UISounds or somewhere else? I would like to replace it with one of my own if possible.

    1.4 looking good. Reminder app is much simplier and easy. No visual voicemail, so can't test.
    Good work spektro. Thanks

    1.4 is working correctly with visual voicemail, using the specified icons you can view in the new options gui, which is awesome by the way.

    This is a must have app for your iPhone. Thanks Spektro, awesome developer!

    Here's the scenario:

    We'll call the (2) Call icons the 'X' and the 'Blue' for ease of talking.
    I called my cell from my office and rejected the call on my phone. Right away the 'X' came up on the statusbar. I left myself a test VM and the 'Blue' came up at the top.
    When I checked the Recent call log, but left the VM, the 'Blue' went away leaving the 'X' still present.

    As a second test, I repeated the above, but listened to the VM first, and again, the 'Blue' cleared first, leaving the 'X' with the missed call.

    It seems from the above that it's a push pop type of operation, the 'X' gets pushed on the stack first, then the 'Blue'. Naturally, the 'Blue' has to pop off the stack first in order for the 'X' to also pop off.

    Is there a way to differentiate which one is associated with which?
    Wait actually with 1.4 something is still off...

    In the same scenario if I have both "X" and "blue" Notifier icons currently displayed on iPhone and I view my missed calls wanting to clear "X" but not listen or view my voice mails (i have visual voicemail) leaving "blue". Blue is actually cleared and "X" remains. If I receive another missed call (No voice mail) both "X" and "blue" appear correctly again. If I view my missed calls only it clears "blue" and leaves "X".

    Yep BeeJiveIM + backgrounder puts a nice little badge on the icon. Is this a simple fix i could accomplish just by looking at your code or is it complex to add this option?

    Yeah, it seems that 'Blue' always wants to clear first, leaving 'X' no matter which one you check first - VM or Missed Calls.

    I prefer to add a new section for IM's instead mixing them all in messages, wich now is mixed for sms and mms. As i said, it works for default, ireal, bite and swirly.
    So i'll try to place a new section further only for instant messages.

    I've been waiting to install this until there was a GUI and now there is =) Looks really good, but i have one question. How do i know what value i have selected for Time Interval? Would be nice to know what value i have selected. Don't know if a slider is the best control to use to select the interval.

    @ raptorjr.... Maybe this will help.

    Exact values are not possible (except 0 and 15) Miin (or OFF) and Max
    Increments are 1 minute values. So, in the middle (6-9).

    For me, I have it set just off the min --- and in practice, it's 1 minute.

    It might be nice to '''know''' the exact value .... but in real life usage, I doubt there's any real advantage. Usually, the difference (appx +-2 min) is just not that critical.

    I just thought it would be easy to exchange the slider against the same control that i used for time in other places on the phone. But even if it is not very practical with a slider it is better than to edit a file.

    I thought I read when I installed that when charging or in use the reminders would not sound. Right now I have my phone in the dock connected to my stereo with the music playing and the ipod app on top, and I am still getting email reminders.

    Is this supposed to happen?

    @Anijake. Yes. This is by design (and my preference as well). If it didn't work this way, why did I install it !! (haha). Of course reminders can be disabled individually in Preferences.

    Anijake...from wat i could go back and find it only will not sound if you have your iPhone sound disabled using the toggle on the side of iPhone. Other then that it is going to play reminders per your settings.

    Is there any way to disable the vibration and only have the sound go off for reminders?
