Hey love the app. Really appreciate all your hard work. I don't mean to be a little off topic but if anyone knows the theme that is shown in the screenshots on Cydia, I would greatly appreciate it!
Again love the app, keep up the work!

The goal for this application is to be lightweight and simple. So battery life performance is a priority here !!! Nothing is constantly running on your device, so the battery must be preserved.
As you can see, itīs very very simple to control. Please post here is you would like any improvement or have a bug report.
Ops, seems that the installation is not setting the permissions correctly, so indeed the settings are not being stored !!!
Iīll ask to big boss to change the package. The quick fix for this is ssh on the device and go to /Applications/Reminder.app and set the Info.plist file to 0666 permission.
Thanks

Well it wasn't remembering my preferences in the Notifier settings app. So I used SSH and went to /var/stash/Applications/ and chmodded the entire Reminder.app folder recursively to 777 and now it started saving my settings. It is hard to tell what value you are setting it at with the sliders. Is the lowest value you can use 1 minute? I went and edited the plist file manually and I put in 0.20 for 20 seconds, but it read it as 0.
Also, is there anyway to change the sound it makes for the reminder? I currently have a long speaking alert that makes a noise and then says you have email. Is there anyway for it to use something shorter for the reminder beeps? Status notifier uses a short beep.Last edited by dieburnbot; 10-08-2008 at 11:28 AM.

Yes, although the value is a floating point number, in order to accept only minutes i convert it to an integer. So the minimum slider value is 0, wich disables the reminder for that event, and the maximum value is 15 minutes. The slider goes from 0 to 15 in integer steps of 1. So the lower value settable to enable the reminder is now 1 minute.

anyway you could add the notifier for silent mode... yours is missing that feature?
Edit:
this reminds me of Beta/VHS, HD DVD/BlueRay, Status notifier/Notifier1st gen iPhone custom pwn’d

Is it possible to integrate the settings for Notifier into the regular Apple Setting App? Instead of having a seprate icon on the Sprinboard.
Thanks.

Wow, BigBoss is really fast. He pushed the fix as a new update now, so version 1.3 must show up on Cydia for you. It only fixes the permissions on the plist, so it will now save your settings.
@ Persichini - I really could not understand your point. Do you mean notifies you when the ringer state is for silent mode? Or do you mean include a setting on the software for just vibrate instead of sound/vibration notifications?
@ Ron21 - Well, i donīt think itīs possible, but i can be wrong

Great work spektro
Does this release also support swirlyMMS? I know there was mention of this previously but it wasn't too clear.
Ahh
Notifier is causing my phone to go into Safe Mode now
To reproduce:
Sent myself an email from the iphone and closed the email app.
Reopened email app and new email appears, icon appears on status bar.
Opened new email, icon disappears from task bar but before the email has fully loaded the phone freezes and goes into Safe Mode.
I have all reminders set to disabled in the options.
If there's any logs you need to diagnose this just let me know

Oh, damn. Sorry guys, just let some garbage on code wich i was using to test other things and forgot to remove it.
Anyway, i've sent the CORRECT package to BigBoss, so the next update won't have this odd behavior
