Zolee, your app is really good and works well, but my phone gets really sluggish running your notifier. I don't have that problem with notifier 1.0.
Btw, if anyone is looking for the older version of Notifier without the annoying reminder issue you can download it here:
http://mac.softpedia.com/get/iPhone-...Notifier.shtml
SSH it to your phone somewhere and remember what directory it is in. Start up terminal (I use PuTTy on Vista) and login into the phone navigate to the directory and do dpkg -i notifier_1.0.debLast edited by dieburnbot; 10-06-2008 at 06:14 PM.

Latest SN (0.2.6) is using the same method as Notifier.
Please let me know if you have the same isues with 0.2.6.
Send me private message if you have any question.
Thanks!

zolee. A prior posted about 'hijacking' posts. This is the second time.
It is inappropriate to hijack this thread about Notifier to promote your Status Notifier. Go ahead and start your own threads .... and title them whatever you desire
BTW: Both I am testing both Notifier and your app StatusNotifier and both of you are to be commended. Only us users can benefit from a healthy competition.
But please .... keep it clean ... stop hijacking ......

I'm actually running your latest release 0.2.7 and it seems to have made my phone slightly sluggish compared to when it wasn't installed. Maybe its just in my head. I probably have too much crap running: Winterboard theme, categories, backgrounder, stack, rotating html wallpaper. hehehehe
Anyway back to Notifier as that is what this thread is for.

ill give statusnotifier a try until notifier gets that "feature" of "reminding" me a LOT of times per minute for 5 minutes :/ (awfull taste on that desicion)
if i dont like the other app ill have to manually install the old notifier

ThereŽs no competition here. IŽm doing this only for my personal satisfaction/knowledge and thought to share this with you. So i really donŽt mind if you use this or that application.

I noticed the maximum time was 15 minutes. How about changing the maximum to 'Forever'?
I frequently leave my phone unattended for some meetings. These are far longer than 15 minutes. When I return, I need the phone to keep reminding .... until I do something!! Haha. Frankly, as long as it's user selectable, I see no reason to put an artificial limit on maximum.
JMHO.

This is just the time interval. You can always set it to maximum and set the Repeat Mode to ON, so it will be reminding you each 15 minutes time interval forever (until you check them all). This is what the repeat mode is all about.
Setting the slider to 0 will disable reminder for that kind of event.Last edited by spektro; 10-07-2008 at 01:03 PM.

Hey spektro, can't wait for your new release. Couldn't you just put the settings in the settings app?
