Hey spektro, is it possible to have the reminder use the sounds from the Winterboard theme one applies? Right now, my phone makes a whole lot of different noises, because I have all my UISounds themed, but the reminder uses the system sounds.

Also, even though I like the idea of the reminder; without an option to customize the alert frequency, it's really annoying in situations, where you just want to be alerted once.

Anyway, thanks for this cool utility! Keep up the great work!

Is there any way to turn off the reminders? I can see how some would like it, but it gets really annoying to me.

StatusNotifier 0.2.6 has customizable options and reminder.
You can select which icon can trigger reminder vibration and you can edit interval.

statusnotifier - Google Code

Cydia will be updated tonight!

Thanks for the update this program is a lot better than the initial release that used the daemon. Is there anyway to have the reminder play a customizable sound instead of vibrating? Like a short beep or something? I don't always have my phone in my pocket and it would nice to be reminded if it is sitting on a desk or something.

Also, what is the enableRemoteHttp setting for? What are the units for the reminderInterval setting? Minutes, seconds...?

Thanks for the nice program.

Zolee, your app is really good and works well, but my phone gets really sluggish running your notifier. I don't have that problem with notifier 1.0.

Btw, if anyone is looking for the older version of Notifier without the annoying reminder issue you can download it here:

http://mac.softpedia.com/get/iPhone-...Notifier.shtml

SSH it to your phone somewhere and remember what directory it is in. Start up terminal (I use PuTTy on Vista) and login into the phone navigate to the directory and do dpkg -i notifier_1.0.deb

zolee. A prior posted about 'hijacking' posts. This is the second time.

It is inappropriate to hijack this thread about Notifier to promote your Status Notifier. Go ahead and start your own threads .... and title them whatever you desire

BTW: Both I am testing both Notifier and your app StatusNotifier and both of you are to be commended. Only us users can benefit from a healthy competition.

But please .... keep it clean ... stop hijacking ......
