Works pretty darn good. Strange thing I noticed though. When I disabled an app from running in background, my mail app all of a sudden read all my mail from the server again and it showed up as having 50 unread emails.

I'm on AT&T and it does pick calls over data when receiving but I had issues making a call while an app that used data was in the background.
EDIT: ok so I did some testing on my own and everything works great, must have been some glitch or something earlier (I might have restarted in between)

For those of you who think that EDGE doesn't let you receive calls during apps... think about the old iPhones. They let you run apps and get calls. EDGE will let you receive calls while using the net. But once you answer that call it cuts off data. Remember, it is a phone first, PDA second

hum.... I don't see it. i have bigboss repo added (of coarse). I even did a search, still no luck.
8Gig > 1.0 FW (dead spot on screen)
8Gig > 1.0.2 FW (broken vibrate after a while)
8Gig > 1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2(Jonny5 Still alive)

Does anyone know how to take the code in this thread and create a PLIST file?

I'm having an issue where my programs that are running in the background stop running without me noticing. Anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: Forget what I just said, the problems spontaneously vanished which leads me to believe it was something else. I'll be giving Backgrounder another shot (it really is awesome).

Well either I have a unique issue or only one person decided to comment on it. How long will the program run? I get llike 15 minutes max on parlingo and then it dies

works great for me! im running palringo in the background. no problems.
it just keeps getting better and better. Apple's push notification can kick rocks! (although im still looking forward to it for the battery efficiency).

Nice app. I hope there will be a update with a nice gui instead of having to edit the plist file.

Awesome app
A big THANK YOU to the developer! For those of us using Categories this is just great. Before there was a lag opening a folder, but when Backgrounder is enabled they open instantaneously!

Here's the set-up:
start pandora, press/hold home
pandora keeps running, back to springboard
do something else - working great
back to pandora - immediate open
press/hold hold - bg disabled pandora EXITS
Is the app supposed to exit? I expected it to continue in the fg until the next home press.
Just an observation. Great app!! Love it - and thanks.
