It's sweet, but I had to turn-off Intelliscreen to get it to work.
I hope that gets fixed...

I just thanked you (on your first post) even though I have not DL it yet. But let me ask you: if you want to stop an app running in the background, what do you have to do?

wow, this is a pretty awesome utility. With Beejive, I get a vibrate + ringer when the app is closed. If this doesn't affect my battery too much, it's definetly a must have until apple pushes the next firmware

Paired with Palringo and working perfectly. I knew I didn't have to get beejive for $15.99 and glad I didn't. What a waste that would have been!

Go back into the app and hold the home button again, that will disable it.

I never thought this would be possible to make App Store apps still run in the background. Wow! This is fantastic. I hope it's safe and works well.

what types of messenger services are you all using. All of the sudden palringo isn;t working for me. Maybe it never did and I am a classic case of wishful thinking lol

Did you make this app? Without your post, I would have found it myself when I made my Cydia rounds. If you did make this app, Thanks. If not, you don't really deserve a pat on the back.

Installed it and it works exactly as you'd expect. Palringo runs well in the background for MSN.

Someone posted it to Digg... Digg - Run iPhone apps in the background!

I just downloaded it. How is the battery usage if you leave an app like aim running in the background?

This sounds like a great way to kill the battery
