thanks for the release zolee, installed and rebooted. for some reason though, only email icon shows up. i have two missed calls but never see the missed call notifier.

Recent calls are the trickiest, because it's not just a simple sql query.
Do you have some ssh console knowledge? If yes maybe we could debug it

If it is in Cydia, I am pretty sure it is still v0.1. I have a new version v0.1.1 which fixes some Exchange issue.
I have to figure out how to update the repo.
So far I can't find it in my Cydia

Hi All,

I've just released a initial version of a iPhone status bar notifier project.
It is the same as taskbarnotifier, but this works on iPhone v2.
Hopefully soon it will be up on MMi repo.

Great app! I really missed taskbar notifier from 1.1.4 days. I do have a question. I haven't installed it yet. In the same status bar location where the icons of StatusNotifier appear, I have the icon and temperature of my Weatherwidget. Do you foresee any incompatibility between the two apps? Do you think they can co-exist and display all icons?

It is using the SAME icons (and file names) as Taskbar Notifier. If you have a widget which works with Toolbar Notifier, this will work just fine.

I installed those just now. That did the trick. Working as intended. THANKS.

The refresh rate is 60sec i believe.

That is correct, the update rate is 60 sec. If you want to change it, please edit /usr/local/StatusNotifier/daemon.sh (there is a "sleep 60" line at the end).

Nice job on this! Definitely gonna give it a try since I stopped using IntelliScreen. One question though; I noticed if you don't have the Safari download plugin installed that Status Notifier wants to install it. Not that that's a problem, but I am curious as to why it's considered a dependancy when the two apps don't appear to have anything in common.

That's strange. It doesn't depend on the Safari plugin.
The only dependencies are Erica Utilities and Sqlite v3.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. I have another app that DOES require the Safari download plugin, and as I'm using a modified version it's not detecting that it's installed even though it is. As a result the Safari download plugin is showing up on EVERYTHING I try to download, not just this.

I love this. I also love SMSNotify. This is very similar in concept to SMSNotify which vibrates only for SMS messages. I'm in the process of combining the functions of both ..... (plus my own mods for repeating alert sounds) You should probably pick ONE unless you want 2 different programs (basically doing the same thing) running in the background. This has more built-in functionality while using slightly more resources. Sure be nice to have user-friendly options.
