I have a "wired" version (hacked 2.0) mobile finder already with symlinks so I think I am good to go, but the curiosity is getting the best of me.......
I'm guessing since the 2.0 app is owned by the dev, the 1.x app has been ported instead.
EDIT: Yep, and it works pretty darn good. Application launch is on by default, so don't forget to go into settings and turn it off or it''ll try and launch when you go into a program and kinda cause a ruckus.
Someone try the permissions settings and see if it saves the permissions change.

I fixed the prefs saving issue by:
chmod 777 /Applications/Finder.app
chmod 777 /Applications/Finder.app/Finder
chmod 777 /Applications/Finder.app/Finder_

Looks like the email issue doesn't work, or the send button. I was hoping this would work so I could send videos I have recorded from Cycorder to my website. When you click send, then email, it just opens a blank email. I love that MobileFinder is back! Saurik you rock. If I could have that one email feature, this app would be absolutely perfect!

It was also not saving the bookmarks. I did this to fix that:
chmod 777 /var/mobile/Library/MobileFinder/Bookmarks
Warning: be careful when you delete a bookmark - it actually deletes the folder and not the bookmark. You can recover from this by moving the deleted folder out of the /var/mobile/Library/MobileFinder/Trash folder back to its original place.

Is this better than the one on the App Store? Can you also connect over wifi to transfer files?

I was excited to see a send option, but like the previous post, it just loads a blank email form.
This would be a fantastic feature if anybody knows a way to fix it!

I narrowed down the permissions problem that prevents settings from saving (I also noticed it prevented my custom GUI from applying to the Finder app). On install, the file "Finder_" has its permissions set to 4755 instead of 0755. Once you set the permissions properly it'll work fine, no need to touch the Finder.app folder itself or any other files inside of it.
