Doesn't work for me on OSX. When I right-click on Finder and click connect and type vnc://theipaddress, I get 'Contacting "iShaw.local"' in a window and the Accept/Reject popup appears on my iPhone. Choosing 'Accept' shows the icon on top but on my mac, it keeps saying 'Contacting "iShaw.local"'.

works fine here.

I have been using my own version of this for a while now. I like being able to leave my phone on the charger with wifi on and just Use my laptop to text and so on. Works great

I'm trying to connect to my phone via Leopard's built-in Screen Sharing daemon. Like beatoven, I get the accept or reject dialog on the phone, and when I press Accept, i see the VNC icon in the menu bar, but the Screen Sharing app just says "Connecting..." over and over...

Do I need some other VNC app? egordin, what app are you using?

Update: Works with JollysFastVNC, but its very SLOW. The VNC protocol isn't THAT slow.

Click the image to open in full size.

Saurik says "I recommend turning off the cursor, it causes some graphical artifacts" in the Veency info - How do I do that?

Actually it's Agua originally by Louie Mantia. More information about the theme and the wallpaper (although the page is a little outdated) can be found here: Eugene Gordin » MyPhone

Works nicely, a little slow but works. I use RealVNC Viewer on windows xp, once it starts just put in the ip adress of the phone accept connect popup on the phone and voila you see your iphone screen on your pc. Here is a screenshoot of my laptop screen.

Works fine with plain ol' vncviewer on Linux.

BTW, the icon in the status bar is from the Tango icon theme, and I'll include it when I next release the iTango theme.

Installed and works well.. but how do i activate the home and hold buttons through my computer.. kinda annoying if u wanna exit an application. you have to actually go on the phone and hit the home button.. Am I missing something?

EDIT: Also needs rotation support if you wanna go all out with the app.. But not bashing it I LOVE IT just adding feedback

I think that home is activated with mouse right-click. I tried and did not work for me, but I have mouse settings for Spaces for Leopard, that may be the reason. Let us know if it works for you

EDIT: I did the test changing my mouse settings, it does work. Home is activated with mouse right-click. However, veency drains the battery a lot. I had a 10% decrease charge in few minutes of usage, and my battery is not bad, I generally have 8 to 10 hours of usage and more than 30 hours of standby.

There is no icon, you should be able to request connection with your computer vnc app, veency for iphone will open a window and ask you to accept the connection
