    Default .Apps On Fw 2.1 Will not show in SpringBoard

    Since i upgrade Fw 2.1 any .app that i manually install via ssh Will not show in SpringBoard Does any body now how to work this around. Thanks

    Did you have categories or dock installed? If so just install poof and turn them back on.

    i'm also having the same problem as fernandorinto
    i put the apps in the /application folder
    and it doesnt show
    i reset and everything
    and nothing seems to work

    Yes im,(root/Applications) when i open "poof" i can c at there but they just don't show in my SB so i try to hide it with "poof" N then unhide it but still they just dont show in the SB

    I posted the solution a few days ago here. And contrary to one person's paranoid opinion, it does NOT brick your phone (see my response a few posts down in that thread).

    Apple uses "%@" as a wild card in their Plists. Instead of making the Plist add each application one by one, you simply put %@ in the proper place on the Plist for the springboard to accept all applications.

    I have attached an image of a section in the Springboard strings Plist as an example. Notice the wildcard is used for a universal symbol to accept anything that is within that value.
