dTunes : Updated (version 2.2) - Video Support + Other Changes

Guys,
dTunes version 2.2 is now available in the MMI repo.
For those that do not know, dTunes is a Music and Video media player for playing locally stored media files.
Using the Safari Plugin 2.0 (written by Jonathan Misurda) it is possible to download files from the internet directly on to the iPhone / iTouch. (eg: podcasts etc) dTunes provides access to these files and allows playback.
More details on the update can be found on my website:
iPhone Apps
Richard.

will dTunes will support other formats in Futur ? Xvid , DIvx etc.. ? WIll their be Art work support ?
Btw how to go to previous page ? when i go in something i have to go back to main page. the Arrows are grayed.
Also will be good to add option that will make it run even when we click on home button, just like the originla playerLast edited by netuser; 09-12-2008 at 04:33 AM.

Works pretty good. I like that one can choose which website to search for the videos
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

This is great, thanks!
Any chance that you can fix it to work on websites that need authentication? File Download plug-in works fine from within Safari on my own server, but not inside of dTunes .

Dtunes is messing with me. I go into the song I want to listen to and it is just a white screen.

Seems like a lot of people aren't happy with typing in a desired website, and some were more kind that others when expressing this to me via email!
Anyway, i've sent a new version to MMi for uploading which allows users to have separate Music & Video webpage links.
You will be able to toggle between the two in the Search tab.
Should be available soon.

Is there a way to transfer the songs to be playable in the regular itunes player like iSLSK used to? What would be stopping this feature? Is it something about the 2.x firmware that won't allow that?
