Default *KeyVib 1.0 (Tactile KeyBoard Feedback)*
I just installed and saw this program on Cydia tonight. As simple as Keyvib is, it's really awesome; I have been wanting a program like this forever. Basically it provides vibration touch to your screen when you use your keyboard. Click a letter on the keyboard and it not only makes a click sound but the phone also vibrates. The only additional future options I would ask for is to extend this function to all aspects of the phone. (i.e. Dialpad and Homescreen)

Installation instructions-One click on the icon to set a vibration on your keyboard, another click to remove it. You need to restart the iPhone after using that toggle.

Edit:This is hosted on the ispazio repository.

I don't quite understand why you would want your keyboard to vibrate the phone everytime you type a letter. Maybe I am missing something.

Tactile feel, a kind of force feedback. The same reason why you want your controller to shake when someone shoots you on a video game.

Yeah, its kinda cool. This has been floating around, nice to see it on Cydia now.

Its just a .plist edit. Used to do it manually.

Yup, been around for a while. Had it for a couple days and found it to be annoying. But that's just my opinion.

I can see it getting old fast.. it's pretty cool. I thing I was hoping for however is if you turned off keyboard sounds will it still vibrate but it doesn't. Oh well.

The keyvib app didn't work at all for me. Could be because I've already modded my plists for 3 vibe sms and stuff? Either way, I made the same changes to the plists myself. The vibe is sorta cool, but as someone else said, I think I can see the novelty of it wearing off sooner than later and me wanting to just have it back to normal. I think I will definitely leave it vibing when I'm in silent mode though. It's great for that where you otherwise only had the visual feedback. But it's sorta overkill for the sound + vibe, IMO.

Yes, when the phone is on silent, it will vibrate when you press a key on the keyboard or keypad.
