Swap Photo Library app

well since noone is going to put this on installer could someone please be nice enough to tell me or point me in the direction of how to install this app manually....

I just sent a PM about getting this added to the installer source...

to manually install, you need ssh installed on your iphone, then copy it to your /Applications directory using SCP, on the Mac i use Fugu.

Ok, folks, I will be adding this to our source soon.

Side note, it is EXTREMELY easy to add an app using CyberDuck, iNdependence, WinSCP, or any of a thousand other methods. My dad always told me you shouldn't be able to use a calculator until you can do the math in your head... this is a classic example of that.

It will be up in the next 24 hours, but ya'll should do yourselves the favor of learning to drag the app into your Applications folder on your iPhone as well.

Or you can spend the 90 seconds it'd take to drag the app into your Applications folder on your iPhone and have the app already.

ok I got win to work. Its installed but the app doesnt do anything.

Someone said change the settings.....

"if you do the install through SCP, dont forget to set swapPhotoLibrary.sh to 0755 so it is executable"

HOW do I change this in Win?

i havent done it form the windows side, but if u have terminal installed on the iphone, run "chmod +x /Applications/SwapPhoto.app/swapPhotoLibrary.sh" and that should do it... or edit it in Finder on the iphone...

Ok I'm trying to learn here, so I used iD2 to load the application. All seemed well bc the icon shows up on the SB, but when I launch it it shows that its swapping the library, but nothing changes when I go to look at my photos....any idea what I may have done wrong?

I do have BSD subsystems installed and I'm able to use swaptunes successfully...

GREAT now itunes will not sync with my phone...it says required disk cannot be found...any help would be greatly appreciated.

U must have "modmyi" listed as a source (modmyi.com/installer.xml) and it should show under M.M.I. utilities if I'm not mistaken.

This app works great for me. I use it for my "personal" stack of pics, and the pics I can show my friends.

Only draw back when using the same iTunes for both libraries is resetting the sync options for each library.

I love having the "public" and "personal" librarys for both photos and movies....hehehehe

This app and swaptunes is one of the main reasons I havent upgraded to 1.1.2

Never tried using the same computer and iTunes, I've always used my desktop and laptop. Reseting the sync options is only a one time thing isn't it or does it have an effect on contacts and calender info?
