Has anyone tried Categories under 2.2? Is it working? Thanks!

Mine works, but I noticed that when I get an update to an app store app, and its an app that I have in a category, the updated icon stays on the springboard, where prior to 2.2, it automaticially vanished from the springboard after it updated itself.
But a manual re-spring makes it vanish. so 99.9% works
