Taskbar Notifier 0.9 Released

New Version released, with missed call notification added.

http://code.google.com/p/taskbar-notifier/

Its not on installer yet but according to the site should be soon. So, can wait or do a manual install.

There is a 1.1.3 version, and another for everything pre-1.1.3

Not my work, I'm just passing along the info. I've been keeping an eye on the page for updates as I love the app and been looking forward to the version nthat works with 1.1.3

Should be on installer soon I hope. But right now installer is showing nothing recent for me, so not sure if there have been no updates or if its an installer problem.

I manually installed it. Easy if you have ssh access, just follow the read me.

I've been waiting on this update for a while. Could an MMI moderator please put on installer. I've read the read me file and this is not a simple drop in the Applications folder and make sure the permissions are correct. This actually involves file manipulation and that always concerns me.

Phoneline is everything working correctly, and where exactly do I drop the files?

i was able to successfully ssh this into my phone; once i turned off and on my phone, it was working (i originally only restarted my spring board and that didn't work). i love this app!

i do have a question though. once it's loaded onto installer, i'd prefer installing it from there so i get notified of updates. should i delete/remove what i put onto the phone prior to installing it via installer or that isn't necessary? thanks!

Once it is on installer app, just install it again via installer, and then you'll be notified of updates. No need to manually delete this one. Its the same thing I plan on doing.

Ripper, the directories that are in the zip file follow some of the same directories you will see if you ssh into the phone. As far as file manipulation all you need to do is set the permissions on one of the files in the usr/local/bin/SMST folder.

It will probably be on installer soon anyway.

this app would be perfect if it had voicemail notification too. I believe that in certain cases, when you get a voicemail, no window pops up telling you. you just hear the sound. missed calls, not as important, in my opinion.
