Default One App To Rule Them All
How about an App who's only function is to controll the starting of all other third party apps. Personally, I don't want any more icons on my homepage. This app could use a menu similiar to the settings structure and give the user the ability to add and remove items from the menu. Each category would have a mini icon like in settings and it would allow for scrolling. When a new app is installed then the user would also have the ability to point a item to the correct program path to start the app.

We could start by creating a hierarchy of categories such as:
    Games, Utilities, Services,Productivity,Business

This would remain a constant and actual apps would branch out through sub-menus. If we utilize the same dynamics as safari bookmarks .plist then maybe Web Apps could be a added category.

Any thoughts? Can someone put this in motion? Today?

Is there anyway that we can take the icon off the home page and just access it through Launcher?
