    Thumbs up Navizon 2.0 available
Browsing the web, thought I'd share this.

Note: It appears this is a 15 day trial, after which you need to pay $24.99.
I wish I'd read that part BEFORE I installed it, as that's not stated on the 1st link below, but is on the second link (at the bottom of this post).

    Enjoy!!

    From: http://www.iphoneworld.ca/news/2007/...he-iphone-gps/

"The new update has much more functionality, like real-time view moving and the ability to slide across the landscape with ease, through the program. Instead of hitting the “Locate Me” button every time you needed to update your position, you can put the program in “Moving Mode” so it automatically tracks your movement and refreshes every 10 seconds"

Add "http://www.imalc.com/repo" to your Installer Resources, and download.

The repo has been moved to http://repo.navizon.com

Also this app is totally free is you use the Lite version (cell tower positioning). If you want to upgrade to the premium version (WiFi + Cellular postioning) you can do so but you don't have to. The standard version comes with a free 15 day eval of the Premium version.

wait, is it possible to download navizon premium for the iphone or is it only for the other phones? Because when i check the installer there is no choices for navizon. BTW, what exactly if WiFi gps? Is it what it sounds like? if it is, what would be the point of it. Wouldnt it only work in places like starbucks?

The difference between premium and lite is the lite only positions via Cell towers, wheras Premium is more accurate as it also uses Wifi access points to pin point your position.

You setup a username and password and it's this login that distinguishes if you're using lite or premium, not the software on the iphone. When you buy the premium version, your account is upgraded, so no difference in the software on your phone.

And to answer your question in the other post, is "yes, this is the more accurate version of Google Maps locate me, and is used instead of, on jailbroken 1.1.3 phones"

The little icon at the top, when the menu bar is white, is a bit off center.
