Dock 3.0 for iPhone 2.0
cre.ations.net - Creation: Dock 3.0: Quick app switching for jailbroken iPhone 2.0 phones
"Back in the old iPhone 1.x firmwares, I made an app called Dock that would allow you to switch between apps quickly, without needing to go back to the home screen.
Then iPhone firmware 2.0 came out and turned everything on its head! I had to completely rewrite Dock in order to get it working in 2.0, and of course, I added some handy extra features along the way.
Features, you say? Dock:
- Sorts apps by categories, making large amounts of apps easy to manage
- Imports Favorites entries from Phone with pictures, into the "Speed Dial" category
- Can be disabled in specific applications
- Has a Prefs app that lets you quickly categorize apps the way you want them"

It's fantastic..BUT - anyone else having trouble getting to apps at the edges of the screen? Maybe just my case...but I have to really force the edge to get to the left and rightmost apps.

like it. looking forward to possible updates to deal with lag issues and deleting various folders.
BUT above all that I really feel this is very solid and creative. THANK YOU! I missed this since forever ago on 1.1.x

I hated the starburst one, and I would never use it.. it was horrible when you had more than 40 apps.
I will use this one over categories any day if you can:
enable apps hidden by poof.
allow sub categories in categories.
Games > Emulation
Games > Action
etc.
and allow different methods of accessing the dock, ie double tap home, side swipe, or some other way besides the current, although I am now getting the hang of it, and its growing on me.

new interface looks a lot better. the sunburst was always launching things against my will.

App is cool but it slows down my UI, when I run TOP it shows that springboard is using 20-30% cpu when dock is on, when its not on springboard uses around 2-10%

That's not as concerning as to whether or not it backs off and allows the other apps to run when you go away from the springboard.

I had some conflicts with this app...namely, it froze my mail app whenever it was opened, and I was also unable to type anything into the keyboard on the "other network" screen of wifi settings. The only other unauthorized apps I have are Intelliscreen, BossPrefs, and Qik.

this caused all kinds of problems with my iPhone. Mail crashed, keyboard lags , app lags in general. I uninstalled dock and my iphone is mostly back to normal except for mail. I can receive , but I cannot send. All the settings are ok but the mail app just closes when I send. Making this worse is that it doesn't even save my messages In the outbox.

anyone else notice that after you delete an app off your phone its still in the dock preferences? So we know where the setting file is saved so I can delete it and reinstall… I delete about 30 apps off my phone trying to clean up clutter.
