chmod a+srx /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

{chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app} Didn't have to enter this one, but some say you do.

Is anyone else having problems with this release? Everytime I go to it now, after about 30 seconds it completely freezes while loading the sources? Why? I cant even use installer now!

the workaround is to open installer and let it do its thing, you have to wait about 5 mins and it will fully refresh and then you should be good to go!

if you have the previous version installed from winpwn or pwnage then all you have to do is refresh the ripdev source then the update to beta 5 should be under "updates" in installer, just install and reboot your phone and you should be set. as far as manually installing im not sure what the permissions should be as i didnt manually install, has anyone had success with a manual install that can shed some light?

having the same problem here its freezing 4 out of 5 times i open installer is there a way to get back to the previous version?

sorry its like nyc said, it freezes for about 1 to 2 minutes and then it works have to be more patience next time jeje

I just let the sources for installer beta 4 refresh and, beta 5 pops up, but when I click it it does not have the install option in the top right like every other app does.

It's been in beta for ******* months. There comes a point were "being in beta" is more an excuse than an actual designation. They seriously need to update this **** to working condition, or just pull it all together.

in b4 droves and droves of people flaming me for bashing their favorite packager and them saying it's free ect.

Sorry guys but at the moment Installer is shity... A lot of times freeze and crash...
I think I don't Install Installer on my phone.
