    Default "installing 3rd party apps"
hi i am new to the forums. i need some help with one of the guides "installing 3rd party apps".

i did the jail break, did the sshkit, and installed winscp.
they all went successful from what i can tell, i am getting stuck on the following part though. i can't seem to find the following:

"Now to install apps, just navigate to the apps folder on your iphone then find the app you want to install, and copy the whole folder to the apps directory."

where is the apps on my iphone?
and how do i delete the folders i copied to my iphone?
i get the following error message when i try to delete the folders or files:

    Command 'rm -f -r "Thumbs.db"'
failed with return code 127 and error message
-sh: line 42: rm: command not found.

any help i can get would be appreciated.

Did you chmod the bin files? It sounds like a permissions problem. You will need to chmod +x your new bin files. If you're SCPing from Windows you can just invoke the command line from within your bin dir or individually right-click on a file and set its permissions. I'm sure there's a lot more indepth explanations on how to do chmod if you're not familar already on here... but that'll get you started as it sound like it is where your error is coming from.
