My Customize fix for 1.1.3
This is not just a fix but a FULL app all you need to do is put it into your /Applications.
I made this last night for my jailbroken 1.1.3 ipod. This also includes the carrier icon fix. I'm not sure how well this works with iPhone but it worked perfectly for me on my iPod Touch. Make sure you see all permission for the folders AND files to 0755.
Sadly the file is to large for me to upload on the site and I'm not sure if it is against the rules to link to outside sites so I will for the sake of helping everyone and I'll suffer the consequences.
UPDATE: THE CARRIER ICONS DO NOT WORK ON IPHONE!

My phone gets stuck at the Apple logo now =\ Even when I replace the SpringBoard.app folder with the original one...any idea why?

Yea I put it right in that folder, and oddly enough, I've switched out SpringBoard.app in the past (on an older firmware) to others I downloaded and it worked fine. I'm not sure why its doing this now. I can still SSH into the phone luckily

Make sure all the folders and files have their permissions set to 0755 and try rebooting again.

Alright, I appreciate your help and VERY quick reply a lot! I'll edit this post with the outcome in a bit. Thanks! :]
Thanks so much! :] I wasn't aware that I had to change the permissions in SpringBoard, I thought we only had to do this to Customize. Just another question, does this new mod work the reflective dock thing you can add to the Com.Apple.SpringBoard? Or whatever that file is calledLast edited by KoNeko; 01-26-2008 at 04:53 PM. There is a difference you go ahead and try to get it working on 1.1.3 I also modified this so that you can use the carrier icons properly on an iPod Touch.
To set permissons you have to right click the files in your SSH program and click properties and there should be a box where you can type in numbers. All you do is type in 0755 and hit apply

OpenSSH doesn't have an icon - it runs in the background. You should probably install Services.app or something similar so you can enable/disable it.
I think the logon is username root password alpine (same as 1.1.2?) .
The first thing you should do is use the passwd command to change the root password so no one can remotely access your iPhone when you are on WiFi.
You may find it easier to set permissions using MobileFinder.
