MACalc calculator new version - RPN and Algebraic
A new MACalc version has been released.

New functions have been added and I've included algebraic input mode support.

Pretty cool, thanks for the new alg mode! And I see it kind of slides side to side for different views, although that seems a little inconsistent.

This is very good!
Why does this man not have a DONATE button??
Suggestion:
For switching screens, only use the top calculator screen part, and not just anywhere on screen.
At the moment, if there is an inactive button, and I press it by mistake, the screen switches. That becomes annoying very quickly.
Well done on this excellent app!

Thanks, this is a nice improvement and things mostly work quite well.
Two suggestions/requests:
1) Switching between calcs is too awkward and touchy. It switches accidentally, yet doing it intentionally is not easy enough. Since this is rarely something you'd want to do mid-session, maybe it would be better to simply make it a choice in the preference screen.
2) Any chance you could move conversions into a plist so it would be possible for the choices to be user modifiable?
Thanks again!

I can add an option to disable "tapping" in preferences. In that case a button would be added either when you press "menu" or "mode" to move from integer to float and back.
As for conversions, I might support user defined conversions in the future.

I'm a little disappointed in algebraic mode - it isn't really algebraic, more adding machine.
Try 3-6*9 = should be -51, comes out -27.
(Only a little cause I use HP-15C anyway.)

I really appreciate the addition of algebraic entry, but the current method does not support order-of-operations. For example if you type 9+6*3 you get 45 where you should actually get 27. Is there any way to add full formula support so that you can type on a single line "9+6*3" and then you could do parsing on it to keep OOO intact.

I think that it's normal because you don't respect calculus alg order, you must put "(" and ")": 3-(6*9)=-51 or 9+(6*3)=27.
