Do alternate themes work on Garf? My prediction is no, because it uses the root dir and I assume apps don't have read access to that dir...

I changed the path where the apps dir was in 1.2 and created a symbolic link.
Any one know if I jail break to 1.3 and recreate the symbolic link will the apps work again?

if not maybe ill just a do re flash, downgrade and then jail break. and reinstall the apps

If I read right, you are asking if you can do what the BossTool does. I am unlocked on 1.1.3 and ran BossTool, which moved my Apps (makes a link) to free up space and everything works fine.

Also moved my ringtones and wallpapers with no trouble.

i think the reason alot of these still work is because the jailbreaking leaves a folder called root behind and these app still use that folder.

I've updated pretty much everything to 1.1.3. Look for zips on ericasadun.com/ftp that use "113" in their version name. Hopefully this stuff will get to installer soon.
