The same happened with me.
Got everything working, except the dock bug, that cuts the wallpaper in the middle.
So i edited some docks to have the wallpaper i was using in the backgroud, and it worked like a charm, you couldnt tell the difference between a 1.1.4 theme and this one.
But then i updated winterboard, and now my dock wont change.

To revert to the Defaul theme, just create a folder and put a black wallpaper on it.
Just this, and you will get the Default Theme back.
The wallpaper should be 320x480

i have a newbie question
what's the difference between winterboard, summerboard, customize, and spring roll?
they all allow you to put themes on the iphone, but what's the difference? which one should i use (assuming the "final" versions are released)?
thanks

I just put up a Blank Webclip in another thread in this forum for those of you who like to have a clean Springboard. Here's a pic showing that you can simply move and remove it as any normal webclip:

You guys do realize you have to REBOOT the iPhone after installing a theme, right? Not RESPRING? The app resprings for you, and you see the wallpaper and icons - but you need to do a full reboot for dock to show up.
Or you can just install the Default Theme from Cydia (released by MMi).

You have to reboot the phone ONLY after installing the APP. After installing WINTERBOARD you should REBOOT THE PHONE, NOT RESPRING.
When you just change the theme a respring should do. The problem is with the second release of the app, cause when everyone here updated, the dock stoped working.
I for example had manage to get it working, even the dock. I even re-created some of my docks, so it would show like 1.1.4. But then, when I updated my WinterBoard app, the dock stoped working.
SO, the problem is with the update, not with REBOOTING or not REBOOTING the phone.
Go ahead and try rebooting the phone to see if you will get the dock working.
We just have to wait for another release.

Did know a reboot was necessary, however my dock remains unchanged as well.

Hehe, no offense poetic_folly, but I don't think that many people you quoted would forget something as simple as rebooting the phone. All throughout this thread it says over and over to REBOOT, not RESPRING. I believe we all can read just fine.

everyone prob did reboot. We'll just have to wait for the next update. Also on the iPod touch forum. This is the same topic and it's all the same. Just be patient for the next update

I just wanted to mention that even though the dock thing isnt working for me, you can still get a custom dock with SpringRoll by just creating a theme in /var/root/SpringRoll/ with simply a Dock.png in it. This way itll replace ur dock and only your dock since you have no icons in there.
I also added the last 40 or so pixels of my wallpaper to my Dock.png so that I can get around the whole Winterboard not being able to skin the dock portion.
That said, I'm so happy to have wallpapers back so thank you very much to the developer!

You can download and apply a dock via customize, quite simple. I have a theme applied along with a custom dock.

I dunno about you guys but for me, the themes seem to go into the
/root/private/var/stash/Themes.blahblah/
Themes were not showing up for me when I put them in /mobile/library/themes or /root/library/themesIf someone helped you, hit their THANKS button.

rvashi that is where my themes are located. Did you get winterboard to work. I still get a blank screen and don't show any themes.
