scrabble! I was watching two and a half men tonight and they were playing scrabble. I thought to myself "i wonder when scrabble will be released"

man i suck. I seriously cannot get programs to upload to my phone using ibrickr. Being on a pc sucks when trying to mod my phone. couldnt get ibowl last night and cant get scrabble now

I would love to have Text Twist on my iPhone. I installed both and when I run each, it loads the boot/splash screen (for scrabble it's loading the dicitonary, for text twist it giving the set of instructions) for 10 seconds then resets back to my home. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks a lot for any help.

i'm having the same problem... and yes, permissions are set to 0755

Guys, All files set to 0755 under ibowl.app this is what worked for me. SSH to iphone go to applications, open ibowl.app and select all files inside. set to 0755. works and really not all that great yet, but nice start.

I installed Jiggy Runtime and it worked!
They should tell you that in the installer more info tab.

This is a great app -- one of the most used on my Treo -- so I'm psyched its finally available on the iPhone. However, it has some shortcomings. Primary of which is that you can't save a game. If you switch out of the game - to answer a call, check an email, respond to a text, anything - when you return it starts a new game! That is a huge problem. Its hard to get through a whole game of scrabble in one sitting without ever having to use your iPhone for anything else!

In case the developer is reading this thread, that would be primary change request number 1! Another suggested change is to make a tournament mode where you can put any word down whether in the included dictionary or not, and the other player can challenge the word if they want with the resulting loss of turn, etc.

All in all, a great game though!

I have heard that it does not work with .23 and that you need to downgrade to .21 for it to work.

Sorry if I'm off base, but is jiggy 0.23 the same thing as jiggy runtime? I know there is a jiggy and a jiggy runtime on installer. As far as I can tell you must have jiggy runtime installed for this to work. Hope that helps.

Well either this is my problem, or it's because I'm on 1.0.1. All permissions are set correctly, I have both Jiggy Runtime and Jiggy installed (other Jiggy games work fine). It does the same thing as previously described: quits after it tries to "load the dictionary."

For anyone else who installed Tetris or updated their Jiggy beyond .21 and is pissed that it broke your Scrabble here is the solution: Download jiggy .21 runtime from here http://jiggyapp.com/i/zips/jiggy-rt-0.21.zip and unzip the files and copy over the ones in usr/lib and set the permissions to 0755. This will fix your Scrabble and break your Tetris.
