A huge release has been made for the iPhone and iPod Touch by ZodTTD.com. It’s a Super Nintendo emulator and it’s fast!

Beta Tester Club members at ZodTTD.com have exclusive access to this application while the kinks get worked out all while seeing a first for these Apple handhelds.

Those who have registered on the forums and clicked Treasury in the forum menu to donate are a part of the Beta Testers Club.

I strongly encourage people to join the forums and show your support for projects such as these for them to continue. I do these projects for you afterall, and without your support there would be no reason for me to do these apps. Not to mention, there’s perks of the forum such as ad revenue sharing to give back a lil something for spending your time here at ZodTTD.com.

looks good but you sacrifice a TON of the screen for the controls
I like the emu (i think its the NES one) where it is in landscape view, maybe give us a choice? I know it took some time to get it working and thanks for this. I will still use it regardless

oh jeah, i´m really looking forward to this release!
zodttd makes my gaming pleasure on my iphone.

but what about a sega mega drive emulator? i like
to play sonic. atleast there is a game called "somario", its
for NES and it works with the iphone.but its
original sonic 1 but you play as mario. its okay,
but sonic is the one to choose.

Yeah, I have all his other Applications installed, and they are all great! I'm going to install this as soon as it's out.

What's battery life like with this beast running?

It's usually about 4 hours. Or the time it takes to drain the battery with Wifi on, listening to music, and browsing the web.

looks pretty cool. Hopefully I can use the controls I just can't get the hang of it. From trying other emulators it was very hard to enjoy a game

its too bad Apple probably wont allow these awesome apps when the SDK is released, hopefully we will be able to run official apps and homebrew side by side. That would be awesome

Mine too, can't wait for this App.

I'm sure the controls would be difficult to get used to, being as you can't actually feel the joypad controls beneath your fingers.

Not sure how easy Streetfighter would be to play on the touchscreen controls, particularly those "special moves".

I certainly can't wait to find out though

I'm in the beta testers club on zodttd and the multitouch works fine. He updated with a landscape mode you can set from the options menu. The multitouch works fast enough to allow me to run at a koopa shell grab it jump up and release it all in one fluid motion.
