the game is back up just got it. If anyone has the full version of quake can you tell us if it works.
Also if any mods do???

I had problems with downloading this game even right after it came out. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I just tried downloading it again and it came up with another error, but it still ended up on my homescreen.

an update to it just appeared on cydia. not sure what the changes are yet...

i had to install the old verson on my computer then if you go into the C
QUAKE\ID1 file you'll find a pak0.pak and pak1.pak ssh those in to
/private/var/stash/Applications.SXyf2a/quake4iphone.app/id1
restart the came and there you go..
in order to save I had to change one of the buttons to take me back to the main menu instead of pausing. details on my other thread.

Mine works fine...but at some points it says call blah blah to register that its a trial version....if I do that are they going to charge me? I'm all about freebies!

i ssh into my itouch, looking at the apps folder, and noticed that quake4iphone's owner is mobile
is this the way it's suppose to be or should i chown that to root?

No, all applications are run by the user mobile in firmwares 1.1.3 and beyond. Keep it that way, no need to change it.

u can always use a different source to download **********. i used rock to download it while still having the same error
