    a question about the memory...

after moving all my applications, i now have 75mb free. now, this is a HUGE improvement and it will really help me out. however, where did the other 225mb go?

Thats all the OS memory on the phone. A neat way to see whats going on with everything is to use winSCP. You will see a arrow next to applications and anything that has a symbolic link, and if you right click to properties it tells you where your apps etc. are at.

Maybe I'll move this app into MMi repo so it can be found easier. I didnt do this yet because I planned on expanding the functionality a lot and didnt. Or maybe I'll make a thinner tool that just moves the apps for this particular problem. (Tool can be uninstalled once the apps are moved).

Once you use BossTool to move Wall, Ring, Apps, what happens if you install additional apps?
Are they moved automatically to the larger partition, (second Apps folder that BT created) or to the smaller one?

Also after you more Wall, Ring Apps, can they be moved back to the main partition at a later time?

    Thanks

Same thing here. I feel like a moron for trying this. Dammit!!! I loved my jailbroken iPod Touch. Now it sucks.

It automatically goes to the larger partition. Here's what BigBoss said:

Why then did I notice this?
When I originally moved the Wall, Ring, Apps, I noticed that I now had 96M of 300M available...
I then reinstalled all the apps/dictionaries, that I deleted to make room for the Tool, it now says 50M available.
Why did I only have 96M?
Why did I loose 46M upon re-installing the apps dictionaries?
