Default For Mac OS X NES people
The following site has a step by step way to install NES, but other apps as well. All credit goes to the writer. THis is easier than the '7 easy steps'

Scroll down to the heading 'Setting up SFTP on the iPhone'
start here, then continue on to 'How to install NATIVE apps to the iPhone'

The only "external" application needed here is Panic's "Transmit". Once you have ssh running, you can view your iphone folders and make changes to them through transmit.

Hope it works for you guys!

Nice! I love Transmit, although I use Coda now.

    This works as well.
