Request: Pure-FTPd server how-to-guide and Add to Net Services

I open pure-ftpd in terminal and get "unable to start a standalone server: Address already in use". I checked all my services (servers, apache samba, etc on the iphone) and all were off, so i dont see the conflict.

We need as a community to get this to work.

By default, when installed using the Installer app, it automatically runs after its installed and when the iPhone/iPod Touch boots up. So, all you have to do is use a FTP client (such as BonCommander) and have it connect to the device.

Edit: Run a network optimizer such as NETEagle and have it optimize your computer for a Wireless Network so that way you'll get the fastest transfer speed possible when connected to it.

how can you change user name and passwords

i tried my LAN address and it doesnt work, do i need my WAN address

Use the device's IP address. The password should be what you specified it to be when you jailbreaked it. Also, the username is root.

put your password in for "***Password***"

also do you know how to
1. change read and write premissions
2. Change where the location folder points to
3. change password if need be
4. Somehow add to NetServices app
