Site Launchers - Web Apps for Springboard!

Hey Guys! If you are like me, and have been modding since 'Day 1,' the mere existence of apps on your springboard makes you scream with joy! Even the useless ones...

I counted my apps this morning to find over 220 apps, most of course being the nifty 'Site Launchers' made through iPhone Apper or on FrenchiPhone. I would love to get some more and share some that I have.

Feel free to post better icons.

It kinda defeats the purpose, having so many icons on your springboard.

They're meant to be shortcuts. It's probably faster and easier to launch them from your bookmarks.

I gotta agree with redcard here. Having THAT many icons on your Springboard defeats the purpose. Besides, "web apps" aren't really "apps", per se. Having that many would be FAR easier to launch from favorites than from the Springboard.

That's not comparable. If it is actually a native app, then of course it's going to be on the springboard. But to put that many web apps on the springboard is useless. By the time to scroll to it you could have already gone into safari and loaded the page.

220 icon/shortcuts? K. Whatever makes ya happy, but I agree that having too many web app shortcuts is just pointless. Easier to click Safari and Bookmarks. Now one or two that you ALWAYS visit makes sense, but not just to add them for the sake of adding them. That's like bragging on myspace about how many "friends" you have that you don't really know. They're just there to be a number. Like your shortcuts!

choose the ones you want and thats it!

Thanks techgirl for sharing. I've recently become interested in adding some webapps to my springboard as well. I havent had the chance to view ur ip file, but if u happen to have one developed for Rememberthemilk, thanks will be extended.

Ripped 53 - Remember the Milk - Made the icon from the site's logo... Also shortened the name to RTM, can change in Finder app or in SSH program. Let me know if you need help. Thanks for your support.

I don't necessarily like 'useless' apps or excess apps on my springboard, but I like ease, so through Categories, I have eliminated the clutter, while having one button access to the programs and sites I like. You know?
