chmod +x......how do i do this and where??

i know im suppose to give this command to the nes.app but how do i suppose to do it?

If your using SCP go into the NES.app folder on your iphone and RIGHT click on the file NES , goto properties , under Octal change number to 0755 , click OK , run NES.app.

not read very much then obviously........found in another thread.........not sure how much more spelled out you can get than this............

If you dont have the NESApp installed just download it here , unzip it and use scp to drag and drop it to the applications folder

Ok once you install ssh download this :

http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.exe

Then get your iPhones network ip address :

For WiFi : Settings , WiFi , the blue arrow next to your WiFi connection , ip address. Write it down in putty under host name make sure port is on 22. Click Open.

Login as : root
Password : dottie

Copy and paste this command at the prompt

chmod +x /Applications/NESApp.app/*

Press enter

Now start the NESApp icon on your desktop.


"ROMs need to be placed in /var/root/Media/ROMs/NES" The last 2 directories need to be created and ROMS do -not- have to be chmod.

sorry, but i got the putty and done everything u said...now its saying

usage: chmod [ -R { -H [ -L | -P ]] mode file.....

it means that you typed in nothing but chmod..see attached screenshot

and to tell you what -"x" means type "help" in terminal...again...see attached screenshot or type "help" in your mobileterminal because part of my screenshot was cut off
