How difficult is it to port SMSD for 1.1.3/1.1.4 to 2.1?
If the dev gave it up I guess he wouldn't care.

Run SMSD from command line as root and run the backup (this will work and create the SMSD.backup.txt file and mail it for you)
Then you can stop the process and go to the folder where this is created:

cmod 777 /private/var/Applications/SMSD.app

and then chmod 777 the SMSD.backup.txt in that directory.

Running SMSD as normal will work fine when backig up.

Only issue i have now if the unread mails, the bubbles no longer appear but the sms's are still unread to mobilesms.app and kate reminder app :-(

Pleeease help getting and installing smsD on my 2.1 :/
I have downloaded the zipfile.
Now, do I SSH into my iPhone and copy the smsD folder into iPhone and then set permissions to what ?
Please help - I´m so angry cause I can´t fint a program to forward sms with iPhone.

SMSD doesn't work on 2.1, that version is for 1.1.4.
You can forward messages with BiteSMS.

hi i'm on 1.1.4 and when i lunch smsd it automaticly return to springboard what permission or file should i modify to be able to use it??
and would all my sms be there??
