psx4iphone is an unofficial Sony Playstation 1 emulator for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It includes a dynarec for added performance and features such as save states, memory card save support, and more.
Downloads and more information such as installation instructions and FAQs can be found at:
Also, if you make a YouTube video of psx4iphone in action, link me to it if possible. I love seeing them!

As long as it can be added without conflicting with it being on other repos, I don't mind at all.
EDIT: If possible, add a link back to zodttd.com in the repo for it's homepage. I'd really appreciate that.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the instructions. Am I to put both the BIN and the QUE finle in the PSX folder?

It is taking forever to load on the games to the iphone, I have em in bin format, is it quicker if i have it in rom format?

What is the average size of a normal psx ROM?iPhone FW 2.2.1, Jailbroken and Unlocked!

Herd that! I use iphonebrowser to add files, and it has been 1 hour for a 700meg file to transfer over! I read he is supporting CSO format to beta testers, so hopefully in public release it will support that since it is a crunched ISO file that will not hurt so much to transfer!

12-22-2007, 06:50 PM #15

12-22-2007, 06:59 PM #16how to
alright, i've been waiting for this to go public for awhile now... got it today, works great, a few bugs but hey, impressed everyone i showed it to.
To get it working...
roms have to go in media/ROMs/PSX (i use afp so it's under root's home which gives me all the freespace i need, a psx image is 400+mb), best way i've found is have .img files.
for the bios (which in the read me says it adds compatibility) you have to go into the app package ( i use a mac so it's show package contents) and add it inside the app, no specific folder or anything. For american games you need the SCPH1001.BIN, 1000 for Jap, and 7502 for PAL.
zodttd has a great board just for their program over on their site, i don't know if i'm allowed to link or not, so i'll leave in and that, and everything else can be found through google and bittorrent (what can't nowadays) - hope this helps anyone

i found that the psx.app calls for a all lowercase scph1001.bin....or at least mine did!!

so far i think this is a great step forward, I'm sure it'll get better over time, so I wish the developer good luck in this goalYou can find Sciphone in the Links section...
