New Dock - makes the dock icons reflective or not reflective. Requires a restart.
Tried: New Dock turned off my iPhone v1.1.1 turned it back on and I really dont see a difference in respect to the dock icons.
Am I missing something?

Also about App Reveal, would I not get this same outcome if I hide the icons with Customize?

PLEASE dont get me wrong I love this hack and a lot of the other options I just want to better understand these 2.

Thanks

Maybe, do you have regular icons on your Dock?

Customize hides the icons completely, so you can't see or use the App. App reveal hides the apps from unscrupulous people you loan your phone to, but by double-tapping the blank space where the icon is, you make it visible and you can run it. Double-tapping again makes it disappear. I use it for things like Wetool, Lockbox, UIctl and other things can I want to keep private.

So, a little change to fix this hardcoded will fix the apps.
Thx.

I can argue all I want. I wasn't saying that it wasn't hard coded, all I was saying is that if you edit the plist file with the themes you have then it works just fine. And I know cause i've tried it and use it from time to time. Mostly just use the SMBPrefs app though, it's a lot quicker. I just like it for the sringboard hacks.

Everyone, including Drunknbass, simply needs to respond in a more friendly tone. Let's keep it civil.

In respect to Dock:
Hmm not sure what you mean by regular icons.
I have used iSwitcher if that is a issue.
My dock has the following icon:
Phone
Mail
Safari
BossPref

Are they an issue?

Thanks

Sure, they should be fine. Is your reflection (newDock) currently set to on? And you don't see your icons reflected underneath? (like their on glass). Maybe you're current dock background is onstructing. Try a transparent one.

Sorry about that Eurisko. I wasn't trying to sound rude and I heven't tried to argue. I was just trying to get my point accross that if you know what your doing and edit a couple things it will not brick your phone. But if your a beginner yes this probably will brick your phone. So there, we're both right

Not sure what you mean by background is onstructing.

I am using Time Machine background (via Summerboard) if that helps.
I cant see if its a new dock or the same.
Should it look different?
Like desktop should I have two totally different docks, with different icons or apps on them?

Thanks

Sorry. I meant obstructing. The reflections are subtle, so you may not notice them on a dock that has alot of graphics on it. The reflections are meant for a dock with a black or transparent background. Like on the iTouch.

Oh god, I just installed this on 1.1.2, and I'm stuck in endless reboot. Could a mod put up a warning?
