SpringBoard Preferences:
App Reveal:
Turns on application hiding within the Springboard. DoubleTap the icon to hide, then doubletap the area again to reveal.
Cloaking:
Hides signal bars, edge and wifi icons, and i think carrier logo. The ones on the top left of the phone.
Use New Dock:
This changes the Dock to either iPod Touch Dock (with reflections) or iPhone Dock (regular)
Some of these requires to reboot the phone for activation.
I love using the app reveal. It gives me the effect i wanted to clean up my springboard but still have the icons in the place i wanted.

So is this ok to use as long as we just use the springboard hack part and not the summerboard part?

Guys,
Don't argue with "Drunknbass", he did the program that you have used till now.
He knows what he is talking about the Hardcoded things in the SMBpref.
So, a little change to fix this hardcoded will fix the apps.
Thx.

With App Reveal active or on and you tap to hide the app.
If you deactivate App Reveal will they remain hidden?
Will they reappear when you reactivate App Reveal and double tap them?
I hate to find that if hidden and deactivated the option does not remember and show apps.
Just was wondering before I possibly loose a few icons.
Love the effort with this app, and hope that all the negativity doesn't sway the author to not continue to make this a awesome hack.
Kinda reminders me of the early days in the world of PALM.
Thanks

App Reveal - simply turns the condition on or off. The actual function has to be placed in each individual App's .plist, basically what this does is allows your App to be invisible upon restart. Double-tapping on them makes them visible. Double-tapping again makes them invisible again. By default, the only apps with this function standard are Safari, YouTube and Itunes Store.
New Dock - makes the dock icons reflective or not reflective. Requires a restart.Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Tried: New Dock turned off my iPhone v1.1.1 turned it back on and I really dont see a difference in respect to the dock icons.
Am I missing something?
Also about App Reveal, would I not get this same outcome if I hide the icons with Customize?
PLEASE dont get me wrong I love this hack and a lot of the other options I just want to better understand these 2.
Thanks

Maybe, do you have regular icons on your Dock?
Customize hides the icons completely, so you can't see or use the App. App reveal hides the apps from unscrupulous people you loan your phone to, but by double-tapping the blank space where the icon is, you make it visible and you can run it. Double-tapping again makes it disappear. I use it for things like Wetool, Lockbox, UIctl and other things can I want to keep private.Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

I can argue all I want. I wasn't saying that it wasn't hard coded, all I was saying is that if you edit the plist file with the themes you have then it works just fine. And I know cause i've tried it and use it from time to time. Mostly just use the SMBPrefs app though, it's a lot quicker. I just like it for the sringboard hacks.

Sorry about that Eurisko. I wasn't trying to sound rude and I heven't tried to argue. I was just trying to get my point accross that if you know what your doing and edit a couple things it will not brick your phone. But if your a beginner yes this probably will brick your phone. So there, we're both right

Not sure what you mean by background is onstructing.
I am using Time Machine background (via Summerboard) if that helps.
I cant see if its a new dock or the same.
Should it look different?
Like desktop should I have two totally different docks, with different icons or apps on them?
Thanks

Oh god, I just installed this on 1.1.2, and I'm stuck in endless reboot. Could a mod put up a warning?
