Video tones is nice but the only thing is u gota pay for the use of custom video tones to contacts while this one is free... BUT at the same time video tones is a stable piece of software while this one isnt right now... So u pick which one u wanna go with ..... Try this software with skrew common and if your fone doesnt act up then use it if it does id suggest tryng video tones ........... I have video tones on mines and have had no problems at all......

videoTones 1.2 came out the other day and it is actually now a freeware app. They accept donations but as of now all options including the personalize menu to add custom videos to your contacts are free to use.

I tried the individual contact with video tones, but I just could not get it to work. It always just showed the default video.
But Skrew got this one right first time - works perfectly!

videoTone is completely free now, and you can use a different video for each person in your contacts. Why would I wanna use this? I like the way videoTone works and I've found vWallpaper to be quite sloppy and unreliable.

I felt the same way, I was videoTones all the way(they just released Ver 1.3 btw).. but since they updated the vWallpaper to 0.93 and the skrewcommon to 1.49.. this app feels pretty solid... Ive decided to switch over due to the fact that it responds to the ringer volume and such better than videoTones and I also like how it displays the callers picture in the corner of the screen while playing the video. There are a couple things I would nitpick about.. the contacts list is in alphabetical order by first name... I prefer it by last name... there is no back button in any of the menus.. just a home button.

Is anyone else having a problem running the newest version 0.93?

0.92 worked perfectly, but now that I updated it i just get a splashscreen for dev.frenchiphone.com and the application quits.

I tried un-installing and re-installing both skrewcommon and the vwallpaper, restarting between each step but ended up with the same problem. Any suggestions?

I totally agree... Now lets see if the developers of video tones would make a video wall paper app cuz i liked the vwallpaper but im not about to install the skrew common.......

videotones is some how giving me a problem to load videos into while vwallpaper is working fine soooo i f*cks wit vwallpaper i see room for improvemnt tho..good looks to who ever mad this app!!

yeah now all of a sudden mine stopped working, d/k what it could be the only thing I have installed lately was Twitter. Now sometimes it opens and sometimes it won't and when it does I select a video and turn it on Respring and nothing happens. Any ideas?
