sdlroids asteroids clone 2be released 7/3 vid inside
i was given an early copy of sdlroids asteriod clone for the iphone by vball aka virtualball.
should be public by 7-3-08 aka tommorow so look out for it
its runs great once u get ahold of the controls

the vids not the best i made it at 1am, but it does its purpose aka build hype

redoing a classic
Perhaps a reminder that asteroids was done on a vector monitor.

downloaded it this morning and I have to say I am very disappointed by the control setup. Took a really oldschool fun game and made it super frustrating.
I think a better control screen would be sliding your finger across the left side of the screen would rotate the ship(up being counterclockwise, down being clockwise)...
tapping the top right side of the screen would fire the weapon
bottom right side of the screen would move your ship forward.
