Here's a nice app that allows you to read comics, manga or books in .zip format with pretty cool ways to turn pages using the accelerometer and touchscreen. All the menus were in Japanese but i've converted them into English. Download Here.

What about rar format?

Most comics are in either zip or rar format?

That would be the bomb (oh yeah baby) if it supported both.

make sure you adjust the permission on the executable to 755.

make a Comic folder in var/root/media so it looks like this var/root/media/Comic

extract rar format then archive into zip format.

google manga and zip and you'll find quite a few

it's as smooth as butter on mine. both running on 1.02 and 1.1.1

It's smooth as can be for me, but it does seem to depend a bit on the graphics size. Some of the things I've downloaded are sized for print instead of screen and the files are massive.

Also, the program appears to have some memory leaks.

Overall, very cool indeed, and works surprisingly well.

I'm also on 1.1.1. If it's crashing most likely you either have permissions set incorrectly or the comic files you're having it read are corrupt.

i has problems installing it over ssh
for some only the file "iComic" didnt pass.
but now it's work great (1.1.2)
