if it keeps crashing just open it via terminal or putty, then it should work every time
use these comands
ssh root@yourphone'sip (password should be alpine, or w/e u changed it to)
cd /Applications/iComic.app
./icomic
make sure icomic is closed when u do this, and ssh is on in your phoneLast edited by HaiLong; 02-18-2008 at 06:42 PM.

Does anyone know if this app work on iPhone 1.1.4?
I am not able to see the .zip files that I have put into the iPhone. Everything else, english menu, starting up all works fine.

yes, it works on 1.1.4
You probably copied your zips in the wrong directory.
The correct path for 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 is:
/var/mobile/Media/Comic

Did anyone figure out the limit of how much manga we can have in /var/mobile/Media/Comic? Any way around this constraint?

This one is weird, I can't get the pages to turn. I re-checked all of the settings and all possible methods of page turning are on. I can see the first page but can't change it. Anybody else with the same problem or a solution?

I've been waiting for a comic reader app, and It's a great first effort. Improvements can be made In a few areas. reading .cbr, cbz Is a must as most digital comics come In those formats. I also have a problem with the app being sluggish at times, with the start of a new book, turning the iphone horizontal, the expanding and reducing of page size, also page turning( try tapping the bottom left corner to turn the page).I'm running on a 2.0.2

Looks as though this thread has really slowed down. For a regularly updated guide on iComic see:
The current verscon of iComic, v13, works well on iPhone 3G with f/w 2.1. An Appstore version is also in the pipeline.Code:http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23759
