BigBoss, or anybody that might have figured this out?
Using the new ADD service, does anyone know what magic you need to type to get the VPN to turn on/off? I've noticed that 'raccon' is running when the VPN is on and pppd running with a service id that looks like a CLSID kinda; but I'm not sure what we would put in the start, stop, process info, (or if it can even be done)Last edited by IvanRaide; 03-13-2008 at 01:25 PM.

Hey boss,
I had a 1.1.1 firmware iPod Touch, and I used your application.
When I rebooted my iPod Touch, the whole home screen was gone.
I could still 'Slide To Activate,' and I could also see an app add-on called 'Starburst,' or something.
I did not know what to do after that,
So I restored my iPod to 1.1.4 firmware.
Right now, I have 1.1.3 firmware, and I would like to try this app again.
What might I have done wrong the first time?
Or give me instructions on what to do, please.

Sorry, that's for BossTool.
Still any help would be great.Last edited by Tupac; 04-17-2008 at 06:58 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Hi there,
I have a problem: I'm on 1.1.4 ziphone hacked iPhone and using BossPrefs 1.73. I cannot click on some of the dock icons in BossPrefs. I can click Power, Hide Icons, BossTool, WildEyes. I CANNOT click: PowerTool, SMBPrefs, RepoName, MobileSt..., Stocks
These are all the icons I put there which I stated clickable and unclickable.
Also I needed to change my theme so I needed to access SMBPPrefs, but when I deleted it from the dock icons, it didn't show up in the SpringBoard!!! I'm stuck. I uninstalled BossPrefs and reinstalled it, but it didn't solve the problem.
Please help.
Cheers,
sahink

Does anyone know if the disable edge data feature is working with the 2.0 version? It's the only thing holding me from upgrading...

Hey guys I love this app, but with my latest upgrade and on 2.2 i'm recently facing problems with the Wi-Fi switch... it doesn't affect the actual wi-fi action, you still have to do it yourself from the settings.. any ideas???

Not sure if this app needed updating for 2.2, but many (probably most) are using SBSettings - a newer version of BossPrefs.

I can no longer turn WiFi on/off via BossPref. If I uninstall BiteSMS it works again. I've read other threads that report WiFi not working even with out BiteSMS installed though. What might be the problem? It worked great a few months ago. I'm on 2.2

I had problems/issues after upgrading to 2.2 and at the same time SBSettings came out. Since SB was the upgraded/enhanced version of BP I used it. Don't know if BP needs an update for 2.2 or not but give SBSettings a try. You'll probably like it better - most do
