Installed manually and tested, this version works fine. Also some new options:

- Backup to Mail
- CREATE TEMPLATES!

Now that's useful! Now we can store those simple messages we always send. Awesome app, looks like a donation is coming his way from me Awesome app this is.

Bug report:

i updated SMSd v0.6 to v0.7 and was not able to send new text messages via "new" or "foward."

I uninstalled and manually installed v0.6 and set persmissions to 755 and am now sending text messages again. I put the bug on his google code page.

Might want to hold off until it's updated again.

Wont work on mine either. Just uninstalled it and i'm waiting on the newer update.

i have sameproblem but i have solved it
first of all send sms with country code prefix if it is successfully send then it works with country prefix

and if it is still notsending then goto
SETTINGS
GENERAL
RESET
RESET ALL SETTINGS
and after that open smsd and send sms to any one with country code prefix it will be send successully.

i don't see v0.08 in installer... currently i have 0.06, do i have to update it to 0.07 first before 0.08 will show?

if its in installer you will see the current version to update to. It will either display one or the other but not both. I havent seen 0.8 in installer yet, they still have 0.7 on there.

as I said in the update' I installed this manually via iphonebrowser and used squid to change permissions.

Hello,

Thanks everyone for trying out SMSD. I have released (yet) another version (0.08). It will be available in installer.app soon. Otherwise, smart people can download and install it manually from code.google.com/p/iphone-smsd.

This has following changes :

1) New Feature: Sending of contact info is possible now.
2) New Feature: Support for templates. This feature can also be used to create group of people. The way this works is : you add as many people as you want to the message and just save it as a template. Next time just load the template and all the contacts are already selected.
3) Fix: Progress bar used to get stuck in some conditions.
4) Fix: Some people reported message send failures.
5) Fix: Long SMS in the list were truncated in some cases.
6) Fix: Some Sent messages were not saved in MobileSMS.

Please try this and let me know if you see any issues.
