Guys Picked up my iphone yesterday. Have tried to find out how to import my existing contacts from my old SIM to the iphone, can't find anything on this!! SIMPort?

How to import contacts from existing SIM to iPhone

Guys

Picked up my iphone yesterday.
Have tried to find out how to import my existing contacts from my old SIM to the iphone, can't find anything on this!!

SIMPort? can this be downloaded via the 'source' on the iphone itself?
or do I need to sync it to my itunes first?
new to this my apologies...
