How do I get it to show a playlist?

If you enabled playlist sharing, they will show up after your library is completely loaded.

The idea is neat, but I am disappointed in the execution. I expected iPod like features- how about the server creating lists based on Genre, Albums, Artists ? How about the player supporting shuffle?

Also, the volume slider is initted incorrectly when you start playing a song.

Hmmm, okay I checked the option for iTunes playlist sharing.

But I don't see a playlist on the iPhone - only all my songs.

I keep getting:

Connection Failed
Could not connect to the Simplify Media server
Try Again or Cancel

I have checked all of my permissions and everything is fine. Anyone else getting this? I have been trying for about two hours.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, checked my user name and password, etc, and I keep getting the same error

I would really love to try this!

Are you tryin to connect through Edge or Wifi? My understanding is you can only use this app with a Wifi connection.

My connection is wifi,everything works in my computer,shows the files in itunes and the Symplify box.
But my iphone don't connect to the server,I try unistall and install but It does not ask for a name and password,just go to "connecting" and comes back "cannot connect to server.
Is there any way for the app to ask you again for password and name?

I am still working with Paul to try to resolve the issue. I just sent him my log so he can see why it is I can't connect on the iPhone. Simplify Media on my computer is working great, it's just the iPhone that won't connect.

Ok, mine is working now. I worked with Paul over at Simplify (very nice people BTW!) and this is what you should do, delete this file

/var/root/Library/Preferences/com.simplifymedia.mobilemanager.plist

Then launch the app again and put your username and password in again. It should work.

Have you playlists shown up now?
