You need to put this file in usr/libexec
(make sure that you give it full permissions)

to use chmod, you have to use SSH
first, login to your iphone (user=root, pw=dottie)
then navigate to the folder cd /usr/libexec
drop the file over putfile filename
then change the properties of the file chmod +x filename

I dont know about all that.... that seems like too much work...
ALL I DO, ON OSX LEOPARD 10.5x IS USE "TRANSMIT" http://osx.iusethis.com/app/transmit
-make sure your on the same wirleless network
-(in iphone) go to settings, WI-FI, choose network (one your connected to by hitting the blue arrow on the
right) this will show you the wireless IP address your iphone is connected with..
-use that IP address to plug into "Server" in the Transmit app
-User Name: root
-Password : alpine
-**** change protocal to "SFTP" and hit connect
Wha-Lah
From there, you just choose the "/" folder then OPEN (double-click) applications folder. You should be able to drag and drop the folder of the app into the Transmit App from Finder (or where ever you have the app that you want to install)
-Once this is done, you will most likely have to do a re-spring.... or others have said to install an app from CYDIA
hope this helps....... IT SHOULD...Last edited by mrblader; 12-10-2008 at 03:11 PM.
8Gig > 1.0 FW (dead spot on screen)
8Gig > 1.0.2 FW (broken vibrate after a while)
8Gig > 1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2(Jonny5 Still alive)
