Dashbuster - Manage Your Blockbuster Queue

I've finally decided to release my Blockbuster Online (Blockbuster Online Total Access) queue manager.

The application is called Dashbuster (for now), named after my Dashboard widget that does much the same thing, only in dashboard. (Dashbuster for Dashboard).

I still have quite a bit of polishing to do with the UI, and several features I want to impliment....but I felt like it was solid enough to release for others to use.

A US Blockbuster online account is required.

The application can be found at http://iphone.dashbuster.com/ and hopefully soon in Installer.app under the ste respository.

This was something I was looking forward to, but I seem to be running into a problem. I can login just fine, as evidenced by the app showing my "Shipped Movies" list... but it will not show any information under "Queued Movies"... (RSS feeds work just fine as well).

I also gave the desktop widget a try, and it is showing the same problem?

I'm not surprised, as this seems to be the number one bug that I run into, including with my widget. Typically, it's caused by some strange formating on blockbusters end (it happens more often that I'd like).

I love this app!!! it works great. I am curious if something like this could be used almost as a autologin on other websites? If so how hard would it be to make?

I have released an update (v0.5.1) that can be downloaded from the Dashbuster Site or from the installer tomorrow.

* Fixed bug that prevented users with +'s in emails from logging on.
* Fixed blank queue bug. (Blockbuster doesn't have same markup for all users?)
* Fixed bug in movie reordering. (Blockbuster change)
* Improved memory management for large queues.

* Adding movie from RSS or Search no longer kicks you back to the home screen
* Queued movies are color coded based on availability

Dashbuster 0.5.2 was updated in installer today.

The following changes were made:

* Fixed problem with displaying set titles. Title of last disc was being shown.

Improvements
* Re-logged in after account details changes. Especially useful for first launch.
* Movies in your queue are not available for add from search or rss feeds. Marked out with "Already in your queue"

firstly, thank you so much for such an amazing app!

question though - i can add only standard dvd's to the queue. is there any way to add blu-ray titles to the queue through this app, or i have to do it online only?

how is blockbuster online rental now?
i quit my subscription cause everything i had on my queue was long waits.
i was getting dvd's #20 down the queue...
and bluray? Forget it...

Is it still the same?
i heard netflix isnt any better either...

Just thought I'd take a minute to give folks an update on Dashbuster.

The two major complaints from users at the moment are the broken search functionality and the cover art not loading.

Neither of these bugs were caused by any of the firmware updates. Both of them were caused by changes to Blockbusters website.

However, I have stopped any further development on applications for 1.1.4 and older firmware. I'm not sure what to expect in terms of the jailbroken world moving forward, but for the moment I'm focusing my efforts on building applications to be distributed via the appstore.

There is currently no time frame for a future Dashbuster release, but there are some very exciting things going on that I can't discuss at the moment.
