Looks like there is another version of the same game on Installer now, from Conceited Software. Anyone try it at all? It doesn't even appear to work. Perhaps their software isn't "better than the other's!"

its a great app but the AI is too good
for me anyway...
easy medium hard anyone?

12-19-2007, 01:18 PM #5Having played both, weiphone's is much better. The conceited one appears to have some bugs still (such as corners getting flipped, getting stuck if there's no legal moves for you, etc.). Plus the interface is nicer on this one

The version on installer isn't good as this one. I typed in the source but i dont see weiphone in install?

I installed the Conceited version of Othello; it's a good start, but lacking in many things. Just uninstalled it, and installed weIphone's version. MUCH better!
weIphone does some seriously good coding.

IMHO, having played both, weIphone's UI is far better, but Conceited's AI is much better. The weIphone AI is too easy to beat, even on the hardest level.
But the interface absolutely rocks.
