Just noticed earlier today that MobileScrobbler has been updated to include streaming from the Last.fm server. So awesome! I've been waiting for an update like this. It only streams from Last.fm when you're within WiFi range, but that's ok...I'd imagine the developer is just planning for the days of the Official SDK. Good call.

I agree, this is probably the best app for the iphone.
After being a last.fm junkie, I was disappointed I couldn't scrobble with my iphone unlike my ipod. Thanks to the developer, amazing app and it was free.
I loved the first version, I never expected it to have recommendation support.

actually, my only gripe is that the phone gets fairly hot after streaming over edge for awhile.

the best thing about it is the scrobbler is a seperate deamon from the app, i hope greg harsteins will add the scrobbler to the netservices app so we can turn it on without running the app.

hey guys..quick question
what does 'scrobble songs' do?
I'm a last.fm newbie and i tried 'play my neighborhood' and noticed it picked up songs that were mostly on my playlist already.
I tried play my recommendations and it played some random songs that I have never recommended.
And playlist? How do you make one of those?

Here are some further questions, to whomever can answer.
Scrobbler stays on even when I have closed the app and rebooted, the notes symbol is usually in the top right hand corner of the screen. Even when all the scrobble features are turned off.
(However, as luck would have it, right now I've noticed it isn't on...)
What gives, and how do I control it? And while it's working in the background, what's happening to the battery?

Hmmmmm, i'm not having any crashing problems, but the opposite in fact. It seems to be more stable, and a smoother feel. I'm also finding that on lyric or bio scrolling, the little "rate, love, next" bubble doesnt pop up like it used to.
