aside from the previous version that individually erase message...now you can forward ur SMS message.

copy/download the zip file from here

Unzip---->
replace ur file in SMSD.app in ur application folder
make sure that ur SMSD (file) is set to permission 0755.

Eh....weTool is a better app IMHO, and SMS forwarding will be in the next version, which aaron should be releasing soon. I guess if you HAVE to have it *right now*, SMSD is an option.

you probably don't have the permissions set correctly.

A couple of ways, if you winSCP into your phone just right click the file go to properties then permission and just type in 0755 thats it. Or if you have finder installed via the installer than you can use that by finding the file in finder and going to properties that way as well

Hey Buddy thanx 4 replyin !
I've have Finder installed in my Iphn and in the Applications folder i found the SMSD.app file. I got to the "info" button its showing permissions to "511" now how do i edit it ?? ..it doesn let me do that though i can rename the "SMSD.app" but i can't change the permission !

this is also a good program, im also using this with the new version it can forward messages too. but u need to test if the multiple recipient received the messages.

does this mean after i unzip, just copy and paste the smsd.app folder in my /application change permission, even if i dont have the previous version in it??

I have tried installing this by IPhone browser...
but the thing is how am I gonna change the permission to 755?

I have DL the SMSD v4 now..will try to install this again...

wow just installed an update for smsd now at version 0.4 i believe and it lets you send to many users.. WOO HOO this is fantastic..

Yep it's fantastic!!

Now why didn't apple do this from the start to save all this stuffing around and programing for some very basic features....

One of the best things about it would have to be that it adds the message that you send, forward or reply to on the end of every conversation in the official iphone sms program.

It's good because I use it to send out a group message and then move over to the original sms program for individual replies so that the history of every person is in front of me..
